Divine Guidance Outreach Inc. was incorporated as a non-profit community benefit organization on March 1, 2011
We work year round, 24/7 in multiple ways to be of service to those in need throughout our community. Mobile distributions are one of the ways of getting out into the community that has been a very effective platform for us to distribute food, clothing, household items, pet food, toys and other misc. items to people that can use the assistance.
Our group walks in love, without judgement or requirements. All are welcome to receive what ever we have to offer at any given time.
Our Story
The Divine Guidance Outreach Inc. organizational mission is… To lead by example and to serve on one accord, as one body to provide services that will build up, empower and make provision for individuals according to the various needs of the homeless, needy, low-income, underserved and elderly wherever we are divinely led to do so.
The Blue Rose (Our off-shoot Ministry) mission is… Offering positive basic needs provision, fellowship, referrals and parenting assistance to help in building family relationships.
The Divine Guidance program has a monthly "mobile" distribution unit that goes to various locations throughout our community distributing food, clothing, household items, pet food, school supplies, referrals and more throughout our community. Our program actually provides assistance on an ongoing regular/daily basis through website inquiries, phone calls, the emergency 211 database, referrals, and word of mouth. DGO also provides holiday assistance including toys and gifts. Blue Rose Family Connection, our off-shoot of DGO continually focuses specifically on the needs of single parent families in our community. All of this enables us to provide front-line provision, referrals and basic assistance to the elderly, low-income and any/all others trying to make ends meet.
Our unchanging goal is to help the underserved and those in need be stable enough to focus on positive growth and self-improvement which will enable them to grow into productive members of our community and society itself. DGO has mobile distributions scheduled once a month and our organization also provides ongoing regular/daily assistance through website inquiries, phone calls, the emergency 211 database, referrals, and word of mouth.
This organization has been incorporated as a non-profit community benefit entity since 2011. However our activities have existed in this capacity since 2001. All human beings; and some animals as well are welcome to take part and benefit from our services. On an average DGO serves approximately 200-250+ per month in some way form or fashion.
